Board Opportunity

Shape the Future of public health with CPHA

CPHA's Board of Directors is a working board composed of public health professionals who are passionate about strengthening both the Association and the profession it serves. Made up of elected officers and committee leaders, the Board provides strategic direction, oversees the Association's major initiatives, and helps ensure that CPHA continues to meet the evolving needs of Connecticut's public health community.

Membership Committee Co-Chair

CPHA's strength comes from the people who make up our community. We believe that a stronger public health workforce begins with a stronger professional community. As Membership Committee Co-Chair, you'll help cultivate that community by welcoming new members, strengthening connections among public health professionals, and helping the Association grow in ways that support practitioners, students, educators, and partners across Connecticut. Your ideas, experience, and perspective will help shape how CPHA serves its members and advances public health throughout the state.

About This Position

The Membership Committee helps ensure that CPHA remains a vibrant, welcoming, and valuable professional home for Connecticut's public health community. The committee develops strategies to recruit new members, strengthen member engagement, and ensure that CPHA continues to meet the evolving needs of practitioners, students, educators, organizations, and partners across the state.

As Co-Chair, you'll work with fellow committee members and CPHA leadership to guide membership initiatives, identify opportunities to enhance the member experience, and help shape the long-term growth of the Association. Whether it's welcoming new members, refining outreach strategies, or thinking creatively about how CPHA can better serve the public health community, you'll play an important role in helping the Association thrive.
