Membership Committee

The CPHA Membership Committee is committed to recruiting new members and maintaining current members. We strive to provide information and outreach to public health professionals in Connecticut by highlighting the benefits of CPHA membership. We also promote the efforts of the other CPHA Committees, including advocacy, health education, program planning, and finance. 

Participation with this committee affords members the opportunity to develop innovative methods of increasing new member enrollment and retaining existing members. We offer public health students an introduction to their chosen profession, as well as opportunities to participate in recruitment efforts and meet other active CPHA members. Professional members are able to interact with their peers and share their insights as to successful membership recruiting.
